Couple hour hunt tonight for a little stress relief. Not much but a 23 merc (silver 27 fty) 4 wheats(157 fty), and a few do-dads. Thanks for looking and hh!! 20170614_192648.webp20170614_212918.webp

Digging a Merc will always put a smile on my face. Glad you were able to get out and de-stress with some silver.

Nice finds cjon! The Merc was pretty shallow, couple inches? We've just finished a very small, unassuming little chunk of property beside a park...pulling almost 30 silvers, and the deepest were at 3 inches...most 1-2 inches and a few I could locate with the pinpointer and scratch it out with my finger. Weird...talked to a few locals and they all said it was cornfield for at least 50 years...? Cool finds as usual my friend...Ddf

Thanks bud, I've been itching to get out for the past few days, felt nice to see the shiny in the hole!

Nice hunt CJ. Mercs are always nice to dig.

I pulled it out of the hole and set it on the plug, it was about 5 inches down in ashy soil. It was all grey/black and didn't ring in like typical silver. Thanks!

the wheaties would put a smile on my face right now and the silver would put this huge possum eating grin on it. congrats on your finds and stress relief like that should work some magic for you. its a very stressful world out there

Very productive short hunt,,
I do love Mercurys.
Congratulations

Just a side note. Is your finding things a contest? Don't care, to each their own, but, trying to understand.

Wonderful finds!

BTB, I'll be in the 'hood sometime soon, just fyi. ;)

Its a sort of contest in a Facebook group I'm part of. Kinda gives us all some drive to get out there and hunt. Adds a little competition to it to spice it up a bit. Lemme know when you get up this way.

Congrats on the merc and wheats
thanks art!
