A few weekend finds from Bavaria. Wondering if the buttons were perhaps silvr, also what the coinish looking metal disc on the bottom right on 1st pic is too. The large pinwheel shaped item is a mystery to me as well. Thanks for looking and if anyone can help with id I'd appreciate it.

A lot of beeps there ..nice relics

Nice assortment of goodies! The silver button is in great condition, congratulations!

I had the same thought about a silver button found this week on a civil war camp and mine is plain in the center with edge embossing like yours. It is posted on civil war forum entitled Green Pastures. Great work by you.

The coinish looking thing seems to be a lead sack or bale seal. Seed for crops and early fertiliers came sealed in sacks.

I like the buckle, looks like a 1500-1600 spectacle buckle.

You think so? I've found a few lead seals and they were thicker and had a non-smooth rim . Might be though.

Very nice, but I think they are Tombac, not silver.
