I'm making coin rings from silver coins. No, it's not illegal. These are the coins I have access to: Morgan dollars, Walking Liberty, Franklin and 64 Kennedy half dollars, and Washington quarters. I use coins with good details...usually in the XF to AU range. Prices are $80 for dollars, $68 for half dollars and $58 for quarters. The finish can be polished or antiqued. I personally, prefer the antiqued style because the lettering and coin detail stands out better. Prices include shipping. I need to know your exact ring size. Don't guess. If you're not sure, get measured. Here are some photos. In general, the dollars work best in size 9-16; the halves in size 7-14, and the quarters in size 6-11. The quarter is polished and all the others are antiqued.
