A Maxwell coffee tin, even says good to the last drop in German. A possible spindle whorl, lead seal and a 1924 brass/aluminum coin.

Three buttons, top is a military artillery button with a canon facing right and a pile of canon balls.
16Jun08Butts.jpg

A kind of tag with some of design on it, hard to make out what the design is.
16Jun08TagR.jpg

Reverse of the tag.
16Jun08TagO.jpg

A lion’s head with a hinge on it, maybe part of a sword hangar, late 1800s, early 1900s.
16Jun08swordhangO.jpg

Reverse of the lion’s head.
16Jun08swordhangR.jpg

An aluminum beer token and two buckles, the larger buckle could date to the 1400s.
16Jun08Buckles.jpg

A locket, was gold plated. I could not resist and opened it to find…
16Jun08LockO.jpg

Nothing!
16Jun08Lockopen.jpg

Obverse of an Austrian 1857 silver Thaler in nice condition.

Reverse of the 1857.

A small coin weight, looks to have been burned.
16Jun08coinWT.jpg

Obverse of two silver coins, left looks to be late 1700s, right is an Austrian 1829.

Nice finds the buckles are great. Too bad the ol' plows hit them all so hard. I suppose after 600+ years you still did OK. The lion is really cool too bad it was not medieval.

Wow! Nice austrian Taler! Those kreuzers are cool also, how would it be? HH Kane 23

Nice finds Mike, just recently put a similar lions head on "what is it".

HH Robert.

Found a roll of Pennies after work on the Army post where I'm on a business trip to. One by one, I dug 50 Pennies dating 1960-1979 thinking some clad should pop up but it did not, also found 3 WWII bullets that are still live dated 1945. The tag in my post was IDed as an older Turkish coin, not sure how old yet. HH, Mike

Hey Mike
Remember when I found a 6 Kreuzer here in the states last year? It is just like the one you just found.
Great finds.
