Hunted an old 1930's school today that is still in use. Found 46 coins, all clad except for one which was a 1951 Rosie! I was glad to see that one as it has been awhile since my last silver coin. Found one ring I still need to get cleaned up good to see if it is a possible silver. Got this hunt in before the winter weather arrives again this week.

Coins are coins, but silver coins are keepers! Nothing like that silver.

How about the ring, mddavis3? Is that silver too? You didn't say anything about it...

Congratulations on finding the '51 Silver Dime and other finds!

Don't see a marking on the ring and I don't believe it is silver. It sure has a shine to it though.

Nice job on the silver Rosie.

Old schoolyards are so fun. Looks like the ring maybe plated with some corrosion at the nicks. Congrats on the finds.

Some clad and a silver dimes is a good hunt...….Congrats
