Been poking around Ebay, several sellers are selling rolls of silver dollars, some have really nice coins on the end.

The paper wraps seem to show old machine wrapped ends with age to them, and different bank names. Very intriguing

However I have to assume you can have these made up and they are salted with super coins on the ends. While I would love to try something like that I don't trust that it is legit.

I will however capture some pictures of the rolls and enjoy them that way!

I am "buying" them in a special way, I am capturing pictures of all the nicer coins, like the one above and then using them as my screensaver! That way I can enjoy the coins without buying them! I will spend minutes if not hours looking at my Morgan collection in my gun room, just enjoy looking at them.

My screensaver if Morgan porn!

Picked up another 21 rolls of quarters today, many marked with the state quarters that are in it, and so far it is true, hoped to see one marked 1932d-1934 oh well.. At least the half dollar roll that was marked 64-69 was correct and got 3 90% and the rest 40%

I would say don't waste you're money. If it sounds too good to be true, well you know the rest.

agreed! I also worry about fakes, the Chinese can do amazing things with faking coins, even die struck, a few aged rolls should be duck soup

Wow ! That pic is some tasty coin porn , but I'm with the gang on this - run away from that buy !

Your post reminded me of this quote and a few others. Really a cool outlook to have if you ask me!

You can get some really nice common date Morgans for short money to be able to hold them in your hand but a virtual collection like I now have of coins I will never be able to afford is second best. NOT ONLY THAT BUT I have noticed that PCGS offers a similar option, you get your coins certified and slabbed and put them away in a safe or safety deposit box to rarely see and you can look at pictures of a virtual album on their site. I am creating my own virtual album. I will never have a $162,000 1895 proof, but my virtual album does!
