Now have a collection of two coins, ;),
which I received in the mail today.

Don’t usually collect coins, but thought
It was a good deal. And I think I deserve
a small present ;D

Now I'm a numismatist : ;D Happy days ::) :P

Got myself 2 , 2005, certified silver eagles.
Cost with shipping was $25 bucks. Think
silver is up around 13 now.

Pretty coins.

All have a good un..

Very Nice Sherm.....hope you are able to add alot more to your collection!

Gypsy,

no. My focus is on these two coins alone ;) ;D

I want to become an expert on them, or
at least one of them :P

Cannot get over the fact that I'm
a numismatist this late in life.
Say it fast 3 times
numismatist, numismatist, numismatist. :-X

have a good un............

Oh man you got a steal on those eagles,must have caught them just listed or a major coup'de snipe. I usually dont but bullion graded but at a price like that no way to turn it down,graded by NGC too is what really got me,they and PCGS are the 2 best grading companies,now get a safe and start piling them suckers in there, it might be rainy someday :}

Yep, you had your Eagle eye going snaring these buddy, congrats,
she is so beeeeautifulllll!

Smiles!

Shoot,

like I said, I'm not into coin collecting.

Saw an ad in "Smithsonian" magazine; I do follow
gold, silver, and platinum prices.

It's a one time deal thing; (new customers only),
think they just want to get your name and info so they
can sell you more. They push IRA investments
in precious metal coins.

Even tried to sell me other items when I called in
the order. :)

But heck, if I can buy silver at spot or below,
and its in a certified coin, why not. ;D

Think it is an excellent price at the current
conditions, time will tell.

have a good un.......

Nice going. Those are a couple of beauties! Wherever you can find 'em. 8)

OK, we'll give it a try.
Coin collector, coin collector, coin collector. ;D

Beautiful coins you have there. You got them at a great price. I have some graded eagles too. Every time I look at them they get more beautiful. I like NGC too.

Those are great coins to collect, I have 1986 to 2007, get yourself a folder and keep going.

I absolutely fell in love with the Silver Eagles. I am only three or four dates away from my first complete set and have many more stashed to start a second and so on. Wife complains alot about spending 18 - 20 a pop on them, but hell, in 15 - 20 years they should be more than double what I paid.

Remember that 1996 is key and 1986 as well. If you can snag some of them I would suggest getting as many as you can afford if they are in GEM/BU. I also have some graded and slabbed Eagles that won't go into a set, they are to just look at and enjoy, I have a 1999 that is graded MS-70 by NGC and what a difference from GEM/BU :icon_thumleft:

I think I will go back to Morgans again a little later on and maybe some Proof Silver Eagles. Like I said, I am a Coin Collector, Coin Collector Coin Collector. :laughing7:
