Silver Finds From a North Dakota Median

A few days ago just one day before the weather went bad I hunted a median strip in North Dakota. In this median in the same hole were 2 mercury dimes and a wheatie!
I spent 4 hours in this median working it slow. 10 wheaties were dug out along with a couple of aluminum tokens or foreign coins. These will need major cleaning to identify.
North Dakota is a great place, I have family living there. People here are very friendly. One guy came by who lived in one of the near by houses and said his father had hunted this median with his metal detector 5 years ago. He missed two mercs!

I was based at Grand Forks and I did a lot of detecting in that area. NoDak is a pretty awesome palce.
