I spent about 3 hours at an old farmhouse today that dates to the 1850's. The owner said it had been detected before and that was obvious after spending some time there. I did manage to find a few wheaties dating to 1926 and the nice mercury dime. Had two anxious moments, one when I dug the 1940 British one penny (thought it was a large cent) and another when I dug the play 25 coin. It sure looked like a silver coin when I first saw it, lol! Happy Hunting!
