Okay, it was only 1 silver, but it did fly out of the ground. I was trying to pry up the dirt and a root broke throwing the dirt and silver out of the hole. Turned out to be a 54 quarter. Only my 2nd silver quarter ever.

Also found this lead? boxing glove. Anybody ever seen one of these?

This is also probably lead. Unfortunately he was broke off of whatever he was originally attached to.

I found this key yesterday on a hunt with Carolina Tom and Smittyman. I don't usually keep keys but I thought this one was pretty cool.

I found this a few weeks ago. Just never got around to posting it. I thought it was for AAA auto service but it turns out it's for Atkins Silver Steel Saws. The AAA stands for "Atkins Always Ahead".

The back reads, "Atkins Silver Steel Saws. Finest on Earth".

Thanks for looking.

Very nice hunt! Thank you for sharing.

Hello BladeRunner2019. Nice digs. I thought the fob was gonna be an American Auto Assn item but Atkins Saws is pretty cool. Thanks for posting and HH. C9

I did the same thing last year, flip a coin out of the hole. It was a 1908 dime that was under a root.

Congrats on the silver quarter. The watch fob and lead soldier are cool too. You have been holding out on me!

I have no idea what the boxing glove is, but I found one several months ago, and thought it looked like a boxing glove, but just couldn't figure out what it was... I think that I trashed it! Hopefully someone will ID it.

Thanks for taking Smittyman and I out hunting on Saturday! GL&HH!

Nice finds like the washington...
