Silver frog prince figurine?

A friend wanted to see if I could get any info on this. The crown appears to be 14k, he's heavy and about the size of a quarter, and he's hallmarked y + k and 925 on the bottom. I didn't really get anywhere with the mark and the style isn't familiar, although I thought he might be contemporary Mexican.

Yes thanks! The mark is v + k but it really looks like y + k and it was throwing off my searches.
