Made a friend the other day and today he gave me all the unclaimed foreign coins collected from the bank's coin sorting machine! Said the bank usually scraps them for their metal weight or throws them away! Among the many obsolete foreign coins I found many still valuable British pound coins (12£ and change), a 1940 50% silver George VI Two Shilling coin, a 1938 60% silver Nazi Germany 2 Mark coin, a 1918 92.5% silver George V Canadian Dime, and a 1920 copper George V penny. There are also many other cool coins too, such as a 2002 Japanese 500 Yen "Fifa World Cup" commemorative coin.
