✅ SOLVED Silver item

I found this at the site of an 1850's mining camp near Sacramento CA. It came up strong silver on the Ace 350. It looks like a silver chess piece but it has some weight to it and it has a threaded hole on the bottom. Any ideas?

Were these known to be made of silver at times?

You mentioned it has a bit of heft, which fits with my first impression that it looks like nickel plating on ?? brass??, but I can always be wrong.
