We have a newer park in town that gets a lot of traffic. So I have decided I want to start hunting it with the goal of finding a gold ring or 2. Since it sits right on the river figure I might have a shot as well as the amount of folks that go there..

Any ways headed out there to day to see what I could find. First I found this junk Jade pendant, Lookslike it was gold plated but that is about it.

Then I found a 1957 Wheat(12-41) about 2 inches down in the newer sod.. Figure it must have been pulled in with fill?

Then for the silver. Got another 12-41 signal with the CTX and was thinking another wheat maybe.. But out popped this little silver. Will try to she if the marks mean anything as far as maker.. Also found about $5.00 in Clad. Anyways thought I would share, HH:thumbsup:

Congrats on the silver score!

Nice! Im looking at hunting a newer park on "old land" myself. You've restored hope that there are still cool things to be found on land with "newer" parks and developments!
Congrats!

My two oldest coins came from the newest park around. Old homesite there.
