silver markings

I was out at a local park yesterday and found a ring, stones look fake but the marking inside say 18k GE A with a circle around it. although its stamped small the G could be a B. sorry i don't have a pic yet. I thought 18k was gold but looks silver. white gold any help would be appreciated...thanks Don

Might it be GF? Gold filled; a layer of gold bonded by heat to a base metal.
