definitely gold. Gold has much more character because of its rarity. That gold that is in a necklace could be ancient, because alot of the gold in circulation is recycled.
 

Kinda sounds like your asking which is your favorite color. If that is all you wish to know....then silver.

I like silver better than Gold, so I'm with you on this. Plus I never care how much things are worth anyway as I never sell (although I do know the price of most things)

not strickly a find but give the kid a break, people do this all the time. I know I have. Started one on the connection between Fishing & Detecting but posted no finds :P

Oh, was just asking... I thought maybe he forgot to post that he had found a silver necklace or something... I posted in here about a ring I found, and returned it to the owner, and it got moved really quick...
 

I think Silver has much more eye apeal. :o I go silver all the way !! :icon_thumleft:

Yes it will most likely get moved to the general discussion, but we all know this has the most exposure & therefore more responses.

I've actually heard there's more gold above ground than silver. I'd still choose gold though, there's just something about it that makes it look more like treasure than silver.

good gold is, like good silver is, found some great 2000 old Celtic Silver Coins.

Yeah dude, after thinking about it more I would totally go with silver! Hands down. I have always thought silver looked better! It is just has such a clean bright look to it. Why do you like silver?

it is more eye appealing to me it just has a soft look and it is easier to work with (i repair jewelry) gold wheres out to fast on like rings where silver will last longer
