Silver ring

Found this little silver ring, it could be old because the location is close by a old Viking settlement.

nice find on the ring, are there any markings inside the band itself?

No there is no markings at all, I'm not sure when the goldsmiths started to mark their work.

I would have that ring appraised then wear it proudly everywhere! Imagine, a Viking may have actually worn it...shivers down the spine! I love this hobby.

I use a silver polishing rag to clean up my rings and it works great without scratching the rings.

My wife are going to get a copy of the ring, then i will give it to the museum. :)
