silver ring

I finally got a chance to get out and find some unfrozen ground. Rain cut the day short but I was able to find this small silver ring. It is only 3/4 of an inch wide and looks to be hand made. It does have the word sterling on the inside so I am not sure of time period. It is my first silver ring so it was a great day. Thanks
