Silver Roosevelt From Coinstar

A trip to the local supermarket this morning allowed me to check the Coinstar machine and luck was good....a 1947-D Roosevelt dime, my 12th silver coin from Coinstar this year.

Before I retired, I stopped at a grocery store once a week. Now, I'll stop in when i pass just to pick up a few things or to get some fresh fruit or veggies. Its nice to have fresh limes for margaritas. That means more trips past coinstars and also its easier to check the receipt for the frequent overcharge when its just a few items.
