Went to my local coin store that I haven't been to in over 6 months. Usually I buy from another dealer that is a friend. I decided to go through the foreign coin bin to pick out some interesting designs and for a project I'm working on (coin from every country). At antique malls, I've picked out silver before, but never this shop! I've never seen one in there! The box was almost empty and looked like just some discarded run of the mill coins. Well I found two silvers and maybe passed through some others! I didn't even consider the possibility. I only bought the shilling because of the design and I thought that it had a chance due to it's age. I'm sure glad I did buy it. Also got some Vichy France coins that I've been wanting for a while. A 1945 dime and a 1929 shilling. $2.44 in melt at 15¢ (cents) each!
