went back to the soccer field by my house. was there about 4 minutes and found a 1921 wheat....few minutes later it started raining but i was using the Excal so i kept on...rain got a little harder so i hunted under a HUGE tree and saw a couple uncovered holes (must have been the older lady i saw out there the other day) i checked one of her holes and there was a signal...i dug it out and found a 1940 wheat....after it stopped raining i went back out into the field and found a 1944 wheat.... so i decided to just dig the real high pitch signals.....next signal was a ......wait for it...... 1885 injun...my first 1800's coin and also first injun......then dug one more signal as it was getting dark....1947D rosie....also found an arrow head pendant..........i did my best to get pics but the injun has so much petina it just looked like a greenish brown disk

Nice coins & arrowhead thing. Don't report her to the cops, they will ban metal detecting.

YOU GOT RAIN!?! :D Send some over here!!!

Super finds! Congrats! Nana :)

lol Nana....it lasted about 20 minutes

Congrats Marty on the finds especially the injun! Hope you can make it to the fort sometime or get together and hunt in your area.

yeah anytime you wanna come up here and hunt just let me know.....in a few months they will start bulldozing the soccer field and build the new stadium........that will get us down a little deeper for some older stuff and also they will be tearing out the old stadium, to create another area to hunt

That's a heck of a haul man and a very cool arrowhead. But whatever you do, don't ware it without covering up the sharp tip. I used a flint arrowhead to make one like that, and when my son was wearing it flew up and hit him in the eye. He was alright but I'll always remember.

Be safe and HH.
