For my hunting, I crossed two thunderstorms.
Found three balls of musket and a beautiful silver treasure of trade of fur.
The brooch is not complete but it doesn't matter.
The silversmith is Robert Cruickshank ( 1743-1809 )

Congrat's on the nice "RC" brooch,Guy!

Great finds, rare fur trade silver is always good to see!

I've seen that if you heat old bent silver with a blowtorch red-hot then let it cool back down, it will de-crystallize or de-stress the metal and it can be flattened again with less risk of breaking. This technique is used by people trying to flatten thin folded medieval silver hammered coins with good success.

Very nice find Guy
