The season has started out pretty slow for me, not finding much. Normally I would door knock for permissions, but it hasn't been a good time to be doing that. So I had been sticking to parks and schools, but changed it up this last week.
This last week I managed some good finds at curb strips and a small piece of ground at a courthouse. Probably about 30 hours of hunting time.
A handful of wheats, 2 silver dimes, a sterling WW2 USMC "expert rifleman" pin, and a few old tokens. I also found a button that feels heavy, and has the letter "K" stamped on the back, but that's the only mark, nothing else. Don't think it's gold, but not sure about it.
The tokens from left to right are 1)Palm's Confectionery(Good for 5 cents in trade), 2) Troop B 1st US Cavalry Exchange Check(Good for 5 cents in trade), 3) The American Pool Room 250 Nicollet Ave Minneapolis (2 1/2).
Thought that Cavalry Token was pretty cool. Glad I could share, happy hunting!
