Are those initials inside the shields? Can't make out the first one. Second looks like an S. Third looks like Co. What is that fourth thing? A pokemon?

I believe the letters are M S & Co, which stands for Middletown Silver Plate Company.. :icon_thumleft:

Just tidying up some blasts from the past (including some very ancient ones), largely for the benefit of anyone searching the site for information.

Not Middletown Silver. Those are silver plate marks for the Forbes Silver Company of Meriden, CT, organized in 1894 as a department of the Meriden Britannia Company. Forbes and Meriden were acquired by the International Silver Company in 1898 but Forbes’ lines of moderately-priced silverplate wares continued to be marketed by International Silver until 1935.
