Silver's #50 and #51!
Haven't been able to hunt much lately because of work but I did get out last week for 2 hours and today for 1.5 hours. I got the usual clad plus silver #50.
It was not very glamourous but a 1962-D Rosie is still fun to find. Today's hunt was cut short in the local park when hundreds of children under age 9 and their parents all showed up at once to play on the four ball diamonds.
It was like the WWII invasion of Normandy.
I was digging a good signal so I decided to finish it. At the bottom of the nine inch hole was a shiny 1928-S Merc, silver #51.
I quickly filled the hole, grabbed my gear and took off for the Treasure Truck. After I backed out of the best parking spot in the park three SUV's were all trying to get my spot. It was chaos! I wondered why this park has so many coins in the ground.
Now I know!
Happy hunting to all!
