I bought a coffee from a vending machine at work and peeked on the top of the machine. I noticed a thin coin and had to get a piece of paper to use in order to slide this coin to where I could pick it up. I recon someone got tired of putting this coin in the machine and seeing it continually come back out it the change bin. I hope he/she has more silvers. :occasion14:

The pic is of a 1964 Rosie.

You can just find silver anywhere congrats

That coffee mmm tastier :coffee2:

Cool, I love it when random silver happens.

Yep, TH-ing is a mindset. Just gotta keep your eyes, ears and mind open.

Way to stay vigilant!

Cool find Loco
If it was being used to buy coffee, ,
It probably belongs to Scrappy. lol

finding silver in pocket change is getting rarer and rarer. Nice catch.

Thanks everyone, over this past year I must have fished about $150 in quarters dimes and nickles (that I dug) hoping to pull a silver out of those vending machines and others. Not one good coin. The other reason I fished with ugly dirty clad was to get new shiny stuff to roll for the bank. About a month ago I got a buffalo nickel in change out of the soda machine and today I find the rosie on top of a machine. Universal Law of Attraction at work.

Good job on the silver recovery! :occasion14:

Nice save Loco. Silver " In the Wild " is still out there.

Great score Loco! I was out to Krogers getting supplies last weekend for my trip, and eye-balled a clump of change in the Coinstar...one of them being a dime...my heart jumped, I thought I scored my first Coinstar silver...but not to be, was a clad quarter and zincoln stuck together and the dime was clad too...grrr...but still some dirty clad to go in the jug...ddf

I read in another thread a 64 dime is the 'worst' silver........:laughing7:

Seriously though - congrats on the bonus find Loco!
