Similar But Different

Hello Forum,

I found these two items, and I was wondering if anyone can help me ID them? One of them appears to have letters at the bottom. I'm guessing car part? Maybe AMC (American Motor Corp). Rocker arm spring retainer? Such an odd shape. Thanks for looking!

The middle letter is either a M or a W depending on the correct orientation.

think they are pipe connecting clamp washers - cleats?

I could be wrong but they look like the old rim clamps
You really only find them on trailer house axles these days.
