Nice Buff! It wasn't in circulation long before it was lost. Cheers!!

The soil in that park is very forgiving its in very nice condition congrats ....

Here is a link to your coin (very nice shape for a dug buff must of been one of the strong strikes they talk about in the description)

Great find!

1925 S 5C MS Buffalo Five Cents | NGC

Nice condition dug buffy, but it's not a key-date or even semi-key.

That is a Sweet Buff, love the detail. Big Congrats

Seems like it is worth a good chunk not even semi key date..either way I am happy

Where are you finding that it's worth a lot? You have to consider that this is dug and suffers from extreme environmental damage so it is automatically severally downgraded from a "never touched the ground" of the same date and detail

The link above says it is worth thousands if it was uncirculated or Ms 66.. may only be $10 or 15 the it sits but seems it would be key date if it has the potential to be worth that much in better condition.

nice buff, congrats

What a great coin. Having been dug from the earth, it's got some nice detail, no luster but nice detail.:occasion14:

Key-date has NOTHING to do with condition. A barely recognizable 1916-D Merc is still a key date coin. A Perfect BU 1917 Merc is still not a Key-date.

It is a great condition dug buffalo, but take it to a coin dealer to learn the real value. You MIGHT get $10 for it.

Again either way Happy to have it.. Wish it was that Key Date coin.. Guess that is why we detect..lol Thanks for all the input guys!!

Very nice recovery, such detail!

Super nice. I'd be tickled with it if it wasn't worth a nickel.

Not a key, but it is the best looking Buffalo I've seen dug on here.
