Single Buffalo, Key Date I think

Found this today Out at that hunted out park I have been going to.. Took My Mom out to detect again. She had lots of fun again.



I need to do some research on Value if any.. 1925 S

Where are you finding that it's worth a lot? You have to consider that this is dug and suffers from extreme environmental damage so it is automatically severally downgraded from a "never touched the ground" of the same date and detail

The link above says it is worth thousands if it was uncirculated or Ms 66.. may only be $10 or 15 the it sits but seems it would be key date if it has the potential to be worth that much in better condition.

What a great coin. Having been dug from the earth, it's got some nice detail, no luster but nice detail.

Key-date has NOTHING to do with condition. A barely recognizable 1916-D Merc is still a key date coin. A Perfect BU 1917 Merc is still not a Key-date.

It is a great condition dug buffalo, but take it to a coin dealer to learn the real value. You MIGHT get $10 for it.
