It was a beautiful fall day so I loaded the boys in the car, grabbed my camera and we were off. Mike, the border collie always rides shotgun while Ricky Retardo and Buddy (the big guy) are assigned to the back seat. I got out of the car to take some pictures and when I returned, someone had changed the seating order.

The car was a late 70's-early 80's Ford Fairlane, I can't remember exactly. I took the picture several years ago and over the years I lost track of it. I had given up all hope of ever finding it, then cleaning out a dresser drawer recently, I stumbled across it. Of the three dogs, I still have Buddy plus a new addition, Trudy. I had Mike almost 15 years and he was full size when my nephew, Mike, gave him to me. There's no telling how old that border collie lived to be.
