I used to skate on the east coast for Pepsi... That was back in the 70s though..
I guess I was pretty good..

I will try this again.. It said the pic was too big. I had to reduce it some.. Anyway, I found the one picture with Pepsi I have of those days in the late 70s when I was sponsored by Pepsi, Park Rider (short time when I had entered a contest) and WoodFlow (boards) Pepsi would send us around New England to put on shows at elementary, middle and High schools. We would promote safety and put on a routine of tricks.. When I got to some of the contest I did pretty well mostly due to I felt at ease skating in front of a bunch of people.
I still have the trophy's from the big contest on the 4th of July I think in 1977 I was about 20 years old..

I had a lot of skater friends but I BMXed forever back in the day. I did flatland, street, and vert. One accident took away my craziness though. I should have gone to the hospital. Had a nasty fall on my head (without helmet) and got a bad concussion. I was never as daring after that although I still did plenty of fairly crazy stuff. Had it not been for that accident, I might have even gone pro. The stuff they do on X games now is just down right sick though. I love watching the motorcross freestyle. They're the craziest of them all.
