Just curious. What is the longest you have gone without finding any silver when coin rolling half dollars? As of today I am on a skunk losing streak of 16 boxes.

I bought normally 2 boxes per week and went 26 boxes and then got a great box with 102 silver halves. Never give up hunting as you never know when the silver will pop out and hit ya....

Thanks for your reply...I get 2 boxes from one branch on thursday and another two from another branch of the same bank on Friday....Currently on 18 boxes...the hunt goes on......

16? Look back in the archives. SilverCop had one of the longest skunk streaks that I can remember. He would do 16-20 boxes a week and his streak went on for months.

When I was doing 8 to 10 boxes a week, I went I believe 4 or 5 weeks (40 boxes) without a single silver. Shortly after that streak, I hit over 300 40%ers from the same bank.

From back a few years.

"That became skunk #112 in a row. Yes, that is correct. You can see my old posts where I was griping about 50, then 70, then 80 and 90. Just kept going, until I quit. With the few here and there, it had jumped to 111 by this month. Box #113 was looking like another skunk, when in the second to last roll I found a lone 1968. YEA! Only one, but after 112 skunks in a row, and not even doing the halves in boxes anymore, to have this one slip through and be in a box, was a positive for me."

So 112 skunk boxes in a row is the most I've had.
