small flat button

I got in a few minutes of detecting this morning
before having to head into town to get some
groceries, medicine and a few other items.
This was one of the few items i found, a small
button about a half an inch wide, flat front and
has words on the back, but i cant make them out.

Buttons are fun to find. I'm always wondering how they were torn off.

Get some wet dirt and rub gently on the back,let dirt dry. Take a tooth pick and hold it sideways
and rub excess dirt off,that will leave dirt in the letters so you can read them.Post what it reads
and someone should be able to date the button for you.
