Small metal piece with Crown. ???

Located in an earlier 1850-90 era woods. Also found a backmarked London button in the same area. Maybe some help on age and what the small clip is with the crown. Thanks fellas. Jgas.

It may have been a modified version for hanging something else... maybe a candle holder or a decorative plate.
