I found this at a 1700s/1800s home site. Never seen anything like it before-the only possibilities I can think of is a spindle whorl or hem weight-or maybe a colonial lead Cheerio lol. This one has me stumped-any ideas?

Pretty crude for a hem weight. If it was close to the coast is say it was a fish net weight. Not sure though

Looks like a cut off end of a piece of lead water pipe.
