Hi all. I headed out early this am to a ball park that sits beside a well-travelled river. When I got there I decided that I would try the small riverbank area. Despite broken glass everywhere and a number of washed up jellyfish, I was able to find a keeper. I got an overload signal in the dime range- looked down and saw it was a tarnished coin on the surface. When I knelt down to pick it up, I couldn't believe it. I could see clearly the fasces of the Mercury Dime! When I cleaned it up I realized that it was a pretty beat up 1941- but I'll take it. My son's collection has another piece! Happy hunting and good luck to you all.
