small triangular base metal piece

Has a lot of detail in it for junky metal- probably nickel- it has nothing on the back. The symbol is something I can't find online anywhere. Found in VT in a hilly area where kids used to play. Could it be from a toy? Thanks for any suggestions!!

is there any evidence of an attachment point...particularly on top..it appears to be a piece of jewelry...earring or pendant...the arrowhead theme been popular a long time.

I make jewelry, so I am pretty familiar with little pieces and attachments...don't see any evidence of that on this thing.....thanks for the idea, though!
