Small victory today!

Okay for those that do not know I am new to MD and just received my MD two days ago. So i have been hunting in my backyard to get myself familer with the unit and digging my plugs so I do not ruin any property while hunting. Today I managed to find 2 crushed cans and a nail but I hope I can get this unit dialed in and understand what is trash and what is treasure. Wish me luck!

8000+ posts and you're still digging beer cans!!! There's no help for the rest of us!!!!

Don't worry Madjokerny, you'll get the hang of it. You'll be out digging a pulltab or bottlecap one day and then suddenly it'll "click". You'll still dig a lot of them, because sometimes these things mask the things you really want. But you'll know you're digging them before you do, it won't be a surprise.
