OV,

Great looking scenery....thanks for sharing.

Regards + HH

Beautiful scenery!

I want to go camping, after I go fishing, swimming and maybe even panning. Beautiful area. Much prettier than the Los Angeles River...

There are a lot of camp grounds and parks nearby. Record fish have been taken from this river and if you like to raft.....there are some great rapids!

Yeah, OV do you ever sample some of those streams and river in OR & CA for any color?

Oh yeh! A few creeks in that area were/are great gold producers. A lot of well known mines. Now it is hands and pans only....:BangHead:

That's still fun to do.

This is good info.

Del Norte County California Gold - California Gold

Most of these placer mines and creeks are but a few miles from the original picture location ^^. In fact the bridge, which is a slanted bridge, is named for a famous gold mine/miner. Notice the spelling error....

It has been too long since I was in school. Please point out the error to me?:tongue3:

Oh, :laughing7:now I feel stupid. I was going over and over that sign.

I should have explained what I was talkin' about....I couldn't find a "Neils Christensen"....Searches kept giving me "Nels Christensen":icon_scratch::BangHead::laughing7:

You really captured the beauty!..When I was driving a truck, I always loved going through that area. It's really beautiful where it flows through the redwoods.

Love that Smith River country, especially the Redwoods.
