Hello fellow treasurehunters.
Some days ago I saw a small shiny object on the street. Picked it up and it was this serpent head, decorated with enameled hexagons, cloisonne style.
On the head's backside there was a socket showing this was clearly broken off some sort of serpent's body.

The next day I happened to pass by the same spot and searched the street and the gutter with no success, but the next day I went htere again on purpose and found this coiled object that looked like it could be the other part.
It sure was, unfortunately not the cloisonne snake body my fantasy expected, this is a coiled steel(?) flat spring, wrapped in a flat metal tape and with a tail piece, all gold coloured matching the head.

I had to bent the body a little into shape (clearly the object had been run over by a car) and then I reattached the head to the body.
No stamps, no markings on it, looks like this is no precious metal but one never knows.
Is there anybody that can identify this, I had no luck yet...
Any clue appreciated..
Paco
