So that's what a proof looks like!
Being new to this great sport I didn't know what a proof looked like.
My job gets me around the Gulf Coast on a regular basis so I checked out some rural banks again today.
1st bank: None - I sold them all yesterday - uh-oh! Competition!
2nd bank: Cleaned out the vault $170 in rolls.
3rd bank: 2 rolls in 1 teller's cupboard - she's flustered - it's lunchtime and she's manning the window at the same time.
I noticed some in her tray and one nice silver stripe. I bought the tray and glanced at the empty teller window next to her - damn! There was a mirror looking frosted Kennedy looking at me! I asked for those halves as well. She said "Boy that's a shiny one!"
"Yeah - probably a new one" said I. The trays totalled $4.50.
I knew that was a proof (2001 clad)!!!
Bank 4: None in the vault - $11.00 in the trays - and I spied another silver stripe as she accepted my bills!
I got home and started peeling rolls:
Here's my haul from today:

One of the 68's looks uncirculated:

My totals so far: 6-90%, 20-40% a proof and 1 - 2005. 3 boxes (all Brinks), were also searched & 1 was a skunk
