So what did I miss?

Hey hey diggers!
I got a quiet day going on so it's time spill the button jar and examine the contents. Each year I save all my buttons except the really obvious ones in container and when detecting closes I clean and sort it. Sometimes theres a few surprises and interesting tidbits that can help you learn something new.
After finding a watch fob in the junk bucket the other day was incentive enough get things rolling.
I'll update this thread later with the results...which I'm sure there'll be something worthy of sharing!

So I did alright!
Lots of plain ones but I pulled out a couple of the interesting ones. Many tiny designed buttons and few with textured features .I threw in a couple of ball button and glass ones that show up on the surface.
Only surprise was a tiny rotted out Royal Artillery cuff button. I'm going to call it a win lol
Now I cant wait to get out and do it all again!

Well you did miss Crusader post on another thread that he doesn't care about making Banner which was one of the funniest things I've read in a long time. He may not, but the rest of "Team-Cru" sure puts 'em up on the board

no....I didnt miss that
give us all the sites and age of UK and time to detect year round and be as prolific as he and his team are , then you get lots of banners whether you care one way or the other

I find "banner" finds all the time...sadly not everyone who votes for them agrees with me lol
