So, What Sorts Of Strange Things Have You Found In Your Sluice Bed/Highbanker/Dredg??

Lots of weird things show up when we are highbanking or dredging....So far (this year anyways) I have found about 5 coins, a dino bone, the usual petrified would and a sock!

yes, re-finding your tools is always a bonus

A took a sample to pan before setting up my dredge. In that first pan I found a ruby ring surrounded with clusters of [very small ] diamonds . I'll take it any way I can get it !

ive sucked up matchboxes, small tin toys, lots of square head nails, change, nuts bolts, bullets and lead shot (even a live 22 once. in washington on this last trip, we had a "tips" pile of lead that every time we looked at the box, we picked out the bullets, there was prob a 1/4lb by end of trip) a gold plated "carlos" with a playboy bunny emblem on the one edge dogtag type necklace , emeralds, garnets and rubys in north carolina, and other misc blobs of rusted steel. i also once found a small heavy rock that might be a meteorite

It would be worth your while to go over that/near area with a metal detector. That's incredible that you found all that

Sluicing I have found an old Levis jeans rivet marked SF, old bullets from I think the 1800 hundreds
