a 30% profit is nothing to complain about :icon_thumright:! nice job! i sold 75 via craigslist for the same price a while back. workin on a new lot right now.

Hmm, interesting. I have about 30 sitting that I was just going to spend. Let me give it a shot too on Craigslist.

I've heard some coin dealers will pay up to $1.20 apiece. They go for about $25 for a 20 coin roll on eBay also, though you'd lose most of that profit in fees.

im keepin all the ones i find now!

You won't find me complaining about a profit any day!

I must say though nobody else emailed me about them so I think I got lucky. I asked a coin dealer about them and they weren't interested in buying any. But I did see them selling regular clad ones for over 2$ at the same store Lol

Thanks for the info. I've been saving all Ikes I've found, and plan to unload them in quantity at some point in time.

Interesting I also sold 60 of my uncirculated 1971 and 1976 Eisenhowers on Friday for $78

ooh on craigslist? By uncirculated you mean a mintroll full of them that you found?

Yes sold em on cl 3 $20 rolls which had 40 1971 and 20 1976 I dont collect them unless there 40%s I used the profits towards a key date silver half dollar I wanted

I like IKE !! :)
I don't pay over $1 per coin, but will and do buy them for a buck when I see them around. They are just fun to have cause of their oddity.

(now, don't get me wrong, I do not hoard them, just get them when I can)

I've been able to pick up around $30 in Ikes over the last few months at banks. They are hard to find in these parts but I have held onto them and maybe can swing a small profit.

Hmm I have a bank that has 1000's of them and I mean close to 10k!

Ka-Ching!
