Had a solid day at the beach today; metal detecting the west coast of Florida. The skies were clear, low 80s and the wind blew at 15-20 ml/hr. Unfortunately, I went for low tide and the waves were 3-4 ft coming in and the surf tough. Spent 8 hrs in the sun and took 1 lunch break by eating a peanut butter bagel while I got a drink of water and went to the bathroom at a public facility while I continued to eat my bagel. Walked back to the beach and continued for 4 more hrs. [I consider metal detecting my work-out.]

Found 83 coins, most were oldies w green or corroding (cents). There were a few more recent drops sprinkled in.

The Titanium guy’s ring put a smile on my face because as I was going along and got this hit and thought “this could be a ring”, not sure why? Up popped the ring.

The ruby (? red stone) ring is white metal underneath the heavy tarnish and has to be cleaned.
Found the guy’s ring in the back beach near an exit. Found the gal’s ring at low tide in the wet sand.
Probably won’t be able to move tomorrow. Have to plot my strategy for next week…my wife only lets me out 2 days/wk…have to make every second count.
