Well I finally got to search the $100 in cwr nickels from the same bank I just found the solid roll of dimes at. I could see a bunch of older looking light brown rolls, $40 dollars worth, the majority of the rolls had writing on them. One roll in particular had "1943-p" wrote on it. I immediately opened it and that's exactly what it was! My first ever war nickel solid roll! There were four other war nickel solid rolls too! A solid roll of all readable dated buffalo nickels from 1925-1936. Two other rolls really stood out, they had 1938pds-1950pds wrote on them. They had a good mix of all the semi-key and keydate 1950d. Twelve war nickels in each roll too. It sure is nice when the good luck streaks come about! Shocking how much silver is still out there!

Pics?

GO GET THE REST OF THOSE ROLLS! :)

Yeah. Timing is key. They usually never have any cwr rolls at this bank. This week was an exception. I went and bought all the pennies and quarters they had. I believe the quarters(if there were any good rolls) may of been given away already. They had 120 in quarters and 35 in pennies. I found no silver quarters and 11 wheats in the pennies. Oldest being 1934p. I did find 12 dimes mixed throughout the penny rolls though.

I will try and get some pics later when I'm home

That's simply amazing! well done sir.

My thoughts exactly. That's the absolute jackpot of nickel scores. I would never expect to find a score like that in 10 lifetimes - not these days anyway. Just never know when and where with this hobby. Timing is definitely key with collection dump scores like that. You seem to have incredible success with solid rolls. Seems like your name should be dreamcwrvip. :)

Haha. Yeah and war nickels are actually my favorite silver coin.

After you found that solid roll of silver Canadian dimes you mentioned you'd like to find a solid roll of war nickels. Well you couldn't ask for a more incredible dream nickel score than this one. I think Im going to start asking for more than just cwr halves from now on.

That's awesome. Never got any solid franklin or walker rolls. I really wanna find a solid roll of war nickels.

Wow...what an amazing score! To think you posted the comment above on July 10th.

Can't wait to see the pics! These scores are unbelievable!
