Want to a local festival with wife last nite and of course everyone was drinking. Wife asked me why I was being so quiet and looking around and before I could say anything she says your looking for a good spot to detect where people might be dropping stuff. I said yep lol. Well any way I went out there today for a short hunt and it was littered with pull tabs but did find a broken charm bracelet and a home made ring. So many signals I'm going to have to take some time hunting it. I did find some old clad that was there before last nite because very corroded but a couple fresh drops. I was hoping some drunk lady might drop her gold lol but none so far. Thanks for looking.

Nice handmade wire wrapped ring there. I've made a few dozen of those myself out of beach glass. Check the ends where it was cut and wrapped at the top of the shaft for copper color. No copper color and nonmagnetic you just found a little silver!

Ok I will its not copper colored but haven't checked it with magnet yet. I gave it to my 3 year old daughter It's in here jewelry box I'll have to check it.

Well I just checked it and sure enough it's silver. That's my third silver ring in that spot so far this year. I already gave it to my 3 year old daughter so I guess I can't throw it in my scrap silver bag :( lol. It doesn't fit her finger but when I got home all she talked about was daddy found me a ring so I gave it to her. Maybe she will have it long after I'm gone and can say it was my first ring and my dad found it for me. That's my sappy thought anyway. Thanks I thought it was just steal wire and didn't even check it. Good luck everyone.

I'm glad she likes it, don't let her lose it! lol

Sterling wire is pretty cheap, especially nowadays, about $3-$4 a foot and that's maybe 10-12". Worth way more to make her happy. The value is it's very artistically done and even if they're fast it'll take someone 20-40 minutes to make one cleanly like that.

Someday when she outgrows it you can stretch them to size with a ring sizer with a little elbow grease. The wire is at your command for the most part. $50-$60 retail on that depending on the stones, nice find!

yea I told here to leave it in here jewelry box till she gets big enough to wear it. In her cute 3 year old voice she say I will daddy thank you for my ring.
