You can almost start your own jewelry store.
I once had what I thought was a coat button with a small diamond like stone in it that I stored in a shoe box. One day I was admiring at how much the stone sparkled. Turns out is was a real diamond. The jeweler called it a "miners cut". It was about 13 points (approx. 1/8 carat).
