Did three hours today at the beach near me, had a great relaxing day and some great finds made it worth it also. First 45 minutes was just garbage, not even rotten pennies, then the chain came up. It must have been spread out on the bottom because it was giving about 3 different signals, total of 24.2 gr of 14K and it was unbroken! Stones on both medallions. Next a 1927 mercury dime, a tungsten ring, another ring that's probably stainless or tungsten and last find was a foldable pair of Ray bans in "new" condition, I think they are Club Masters and new are $200-$250.

Very Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!

TIPS ! I was wading yesterday when I found that, and that's not a typical day, You don't write about the days you don't find much! I detected 15 years and found mostly trash and clad coins, only on vacation, only in the summer and only on dry sand. In 2007 I found a Detecting Club and from that I detect 12 months a year, the coldest that I know the temperature was 17 degrees F. Im not sure of the hottest but sweltering covers it. Find someone you can get along with for at least two days at a time to go with you, and last if you can, get a Quality machine that can get wet in the rain and go IN the water at least up to your shoulders and you should be on your way. Find a dealer that also detects and get your equipment from them, not so much on line. I've had a dealer take back a very expensive machine that was out of warranty and exchange it, no cost. Be comfortable in the water and clean the machine every time you use it. Good luck, post your finds-not the exact location you found them. (that's the last tip)

Very nice jewelry finds.
