Some kind of dragonfly

Noticed this thing keep landing on the same twig while I was working in the garden. It was too high off the ground for the macro lens, and he probably wouldn't have let me get that close anyway. Used the 400mm lens.

Wow. I don't know that I have seen that color before! A guy on a photo forum I am on posts dragonflys all the time. They never hold still for me! Nice clear pic!

I think it's a brown dragonfly glade to see it's a photo ham I'm pretty sure those things don't like the way I smell.

Huh? I got a picture of two herons last month. I should maybe try to get closer to some dragonflies now.
