My mother pulled this out the side of a ditch many years ago,she said just the top half was exposed when she found it,and it was not too far from a major civil war battlefield.I think it is some kind of pitcher or creamer but really don't know anything about it.I am pretty sure the base is silver.I am hoping someone can tell me age,and what it is.
